Shaquai Mitchell's rise to the NRL was a standout story in 2022. In 2023, he made significant strides with a career-high 11 games for the red and green, including scoring his debut try against the Newcastle Knights. His try scoring didn’t end there as Mitchell also tallied three tries in the NSW Cup, notably scoring in the NSW Cup Grand Final against Norths. Heading into the new season, his goal is to become a regular in the first-grade team, bringing a strong impact to the Rabbitohs forward pack.
