Launched in 2025 by Souths Cares with support from the Australian Government, Play Her Way has been developed to address many of the barriers girls face in participating in sport including affordability, quality of coaching and a lack of holistic training programs specifically designed for female athletes.
This 10-week training program is aligned with the school term and offers far more than just Rugby League skills. Participants are coached by accredited mentors in a safe, inclusive environment, while also receiving guidance on nutrition, mental fitness, leadership, and goal-setting—helping them grow as both athletes and individuals.
Each participant receives:
Training sessions are hosted after school in accessible locations across South Eastern Sydney and the Inner City, ensuring convenience for families and schools alike.
