Season 2026 to be Keaon Koloamatangi’s last at South Sydney

Season 2026 will be the final season in South Sydney colours for forward Keaon Koloamatangi, with him having chosen to sign with another NRL club from Season 2027.

Koloamatangi, 27, has played 126 NRL games since making his debut for the Rabbitohs against the Storm in round four, 2020. Koloamatangi has gone to play three Test matches for Australia in last year’s Ashes series, ten Tests for Tonga, one State of Origin game for New South Wales, as well as captaining the Australian Prime Minister’s XIII in Papua New Guinea last year.

Rabbitohs CEO, Blake Solly, says Koloamatangi will give his best efforts during his remaining time at South Sydney.

“We put a highly competitive offer to Keaon and his management, however he has elected to take up another contract offer at another club,” Mr Solly said.

“Keaon has assured us he is completely committed to playing his best football in season 2026, leading our forward pack in an important season for the Club.

“We know Keaon will give his all for our Club and our Members this coming season, and he and his family will always be part of the Rabbitohs family.”
