The South Sydney Rabbitohs' NSW Cup team will take on the Warriors in the major semi-final in the first week of the NSWRL Finals Series this Saturday 2 September at 1pm at North Sydney Oval, having finished in second spot on the NSW Cup ladder after 26 rounds.

The Rabbitohs finished the season on 34 competition points from 15 wins, nine losses and two byes, with a points differential of +51. The Warriors finished the regular season in third place on 33 competition points from 14 wins, nine losses, one draw and two byes.

The winner of this match will move on to week two of the Finals to face minor premiers, the North Sydney Bears, for a spot in the NSW Cup Grand Final. The loser will get a second bite of the cherry as they will play the winner of this week’s other semi-final between the fourth-placed Canberra Raiders and the fifth-placed Blacktown Workers Sea Eagles, who will also play on Saturday at North Sydney Oval at 3pm.
