The South Sydney Rabbitohs have over 250 contracted players across eight grades ahead of the new year as the Club announced its squads from the full-time NRL squad to the under 17s Harold Matthews Cup and Lisa Fiaola Cup squads as they currently stand ahead of the 2024 season.
The Rabbitohs have 29 of their top 30 NRL contracted placements filled with all six NRL development contracts also signed for the new season.
A host of pathways and Townsville Blackhawks players are also on NRL train and trial agreements before returning to their squads ahead of kick off of their respective competitions in 2024.
The NSW Cup squad will feature three players with NRL experience, with Braidon Burns returning to the Club on a part-time contract, alongside Yileen Gordon and Billy Tsikrikas. The NSW Women’s Premiership squad will see the return of former Australian Jillaroo Nakia Welsh in 2024.
