When Peter Eirth's daugher Emma was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma (a malignant brain tumour) in 2012 life got tough for the Eirth family. Fighting bravely, Emma overcame her illness and finally was able to celebrate by attending a Rabbitohs home game!

Long time fans of the Rabbitohs, the Eirth family made the switch to ticketed Members in 2012 and were excited to get behind the Rabbitohs premiership push.

"I'd always been a Rabbitohs fan but I didn't become a Member until 2012," said Peter.

"During that year my daughter Emma was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumour. She spent much of the second half of the year in hospital with surgery, treatment and chemotherapy."

It was a difficult time for Peter, Emma and his family but they stayed positive. Peter would attend games when he could and keep Emma updated on her Rabbitohs with a plan in mind to take his daughter along with him when she got better.

"When I got a chance I'd go to a Rabbitohs game to unwind and Emma would want to come along but she was too sick to manage it," said Peter.

"The following season when she had finished her treatment I bought her a ticketed Membership. Being able to go out to the game and support the Rabbitohs with my daughter is the best."

Thanks for telling us your story Peter! We wish all the best to yourself, brave Emma and your family!
