The Senior Pathways teams had a mixed but encouraging weekend across three competitions, with two wins from three outings. The Knock On Effect NSW Cup side delivered a commanding 30-20 victory away in Canberra, while the NSW Women's Premiership team continued their strong form with a 22-12 triumph over the Steelers. The Jersey Flegg Cup side were unlucky to fall just short in a thrilling two-point contest against the Raiders.

The Knock On Effect NSW Cup

In Round 20 of The Knock On Effect NSW Cup, the Rabbitohs travelled to GIO Stadium and secured a convincing 10-point win over the Raiders. South Sydney were clinical in attack, crossing for five tries to claim the result on the road.

Moala Graham-Taufa was the chief beneficiary in attack, crossing for two tries to cause headaches for the Raiders defence. Jordi Mazzone, Edward Kosi and Benjamin Williamson also found their way to the tryline, while Latrell Siegwalt was composed with the boot, slotting four goals from five tries scored to round out the scoring.

Despite the two-point loss, the Red and Green showed plenty of fight, crossing for five tries in an entertaining affair.

Assariah Lenoy Sam, Dwayne Lyons, Taj Alvarez, Isaac Fotu-Moala and Mateus Heslin all crossed for four-pointers, while Caleb Cresswell added three conversions. The young Rabbitohs will look to bounce back next week after a gutsy effort that came agonisingly close to a positive result.

NSW Women's Premiership

In Round six of the NSW Women's Premiership, the Rabbitohs claimed a solid 22-12 victory over the Steelers at Collegians Sporting Complex. South Sydney were in control for much of the contest, building a lead that the Steelers could not overcome.

Luisa Yaranamua crossed for two tries to cause problems for the Steelers defence, while Liaina Dimech and Hana Laufale also found the tryline. Kiara McGregor added two goals to complete the scoring for the Cardinal and Myrtle in a well-rounded team performance.
