The South Sydney Rabbitohs Junior Pathways teams enjoyed a mixed weekend in round three, with the boys' sides delivering two impressive victories at Redfern Oval while the girls' teams faced tougher outings. The Harold Matthews Cup and SG Ball Cup squads both claimed wins over the Magpies on home turf, with the SG Ball side producing a particularly clinical attacking display. The Tarsha Gale Cup and Lisa Fiaola Cup teams went down to their respective opponents but will look to regroup heading into the next round.
Harold Matthews Cup
The Harold Matthews side secured a solid 16-10 victory over the Magpies at Redfern Oval, making it a strong start to the afternoon for the Red and Green faithful. South Sydney's defence held firm throughout the contest, keeping the Magpies to just 10 points in what was a tight and physical affair.
Laveitiga Tofaeono, Diezel Guillonta-McCarthy Brandt-Hamilton and Lior Bar Haim all crossed for tries, while Payton Tarau added two conversions to round out the scoring. It was a composed team effort from the Rabbitohs, who controlled the contest well to come away with the six-point victory.

The SG Ball squad put on an impressive attacking display, running in seven tries to claim a convincing 38-18 win over the Magpies at Redfern Oval. It was a comprehensive performance from the Rabbitohs, who were clinical in their execution across the 80 minutes.
Joshua Ballard was the chief beneficiary of the team's attacking work, crossing for three tries in a prolific outing. Lachlan Walters, Dwayne Lyons, Maddax Fui and Phillip Lavakeiaho also found the tryline, while Isaac Fotu-Moala was accurate with the boot, converting five goals to help the Cardinal and Myrtle pull away on the scoreboard.

Tarsha Gale Cup
The Tarsha Gale Cup side faced a difficult afternoon at Redfern Oval, going down 24-0 to the Wests Tigers. It was a tough day at the office for the Rabbitohs, who were unable to find a way through a resolute Tigers defensive line. South Sydney will look to bounce back in the coming rounds as the group continues to develop its combinations early in the season.

Lisa Fiaola Cup
The Lisa Fiaola Cup team also faced a challenging outing, going down 12-24 to the Tigers at Redfern Oval. Despite the result, the Rabbitohs showed fight throughout the contest. Emmaline Falepapalangi and Taylor Horne both crossed for tries to keep South Sydney in the contest, while Bronte McKee converted both four-pointers to add her two goals.
