Three participants selected for 2026 NRL Indigenous Youth Leadership Summit

A huge congratulations to Kali-Ann, Tyden and Kaitlyn, who will proudly represent the South Sydney Rabbitohs at this week’s NRL Youth Summit.

As participants in our Nanga Mai Marri and Deadly Youth Mentoring Programs, these three outstanding young leaders continue to demonstrate resilience, leadership and a commitment to creating positive change within their communities.

To make the moment even more special, they were recognised by our Rabbitohs players during the Indigenous Round Captains Run, celebrating the incredible journey they have taken and the bright futures ahead of them.

The NRL's Indigenous Youth Leadership Summit will be held on Dharawal Country in Western Sydney from Wednesday 12 August to Saturday 15 August, 2026.

The summit is an annual gathering of Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander and Māori Year 11 students from every NRL club. It gives young people the chance to develop leadership skills, strengthen their cultural identity and build connections with peers from across Australia and New Zealand.

Throughout the four days, participants take part in workshops, cultural activities and group discussions. The program encourages students to value their education and pursue meaningful employment, training or further study, while embracing who they are and where they come from.

We are incredibly proud of Kali-Ann, Tyden and Kaitlyn, and can’t wait to see them represent our Club and community on the national stage.
