Minister Rose Jackson Visits Deadly Boys 2 Deadly Men Program

Souths Cares welcomed NSW Minister Rose Jackson to our Deadly Boys 2 Deadly Men Program this week. Lachlan Hubner, Bronson Garlick and Latrell Siegwalt also joined the session, demonstrating to the boys what true teamwork and leadership look like.

This program supports young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander boys and men to grow into confident, responsible leaders. Many of the participants come from diverse backgrounds, yet they share a common motivation when they step into the Rabbitohs Heffron Centre — to become the best version of themselves each day through positive choices and consistent training. We thank Minister Jackson and the NSW Government; programs like this are only possible with their ongoing support.

Yileen Gordon, Deadly Youth Mentor

It’s great to be able to provide these opportunities to the boys and young men in our South Sydney community, who are keen to make positive changes. I’m always impressed with their willing attitude and the energy they bring to each training session.
