At Round 10 v Sharks on Saturday 9th May the South Sydney Rabbitohs celebrated Junior League Appreciation Round. The club celebrated all 14 of their Junior League teams as well as Souths Oztag and UNSW South Sydney Rabbitohs Touch. The Rabbitohs are committed to growing participation across all variations of rugby league and this game day celebrated the work being done in this space.

Junior League Appreciation Round has come off the back of a number of events in the past few months that the South Sydney Rabbitohs and Souths Juniors have worked on collaboratively. This included the Budget Direct Come & Try Day, Junior Club Blitz and the donation of Budget Direct Equipment Packs to all the Junior League clubs. The goal of these events are to encourage participation in league across the district.
Throughout the week the players trained in their Junior club jerseys and on game day, over 1400 Junior League players walked on the big stage in the half-time March Past, painting the field in their club colours.

South Sydney District Junior Rugby League is one of the only districts in NSW that is FREE to play!
