Footy, Fun and Friendships at Our Holiday Clinics
Over 150 kids turned out for two action-packed days of fun, learning and connection at our Holiday Junior Skills Clinic, held at the Michael Wenden Aquatic Centre and Heffron Park. The events brought together young people from across both regions to participate in a range of rugby league specific skills and fitness activities, designed to build confidence, teamwork and fundamental movement skills.
The clinics were a fantastic opportunity for kids to stay active during the school holidays, meet new friends and engage with positive role models in a safe and supportive environment. From agility training and rugby league skills drills to conditioning games, there was something for everyone to enjoy.
A highlight of both days events was the kind donation of a nutritious hot lunch for all participants and their families, generously provided by the team behind the Vinnies Vans. This thoughtful contribution ensured that families not only enjoyed a healthy meal together but also felt a strong sense of community support and care.

We are proud to have hosted such a successful event and thank all the staff, volunteers, and partner organisations who made it possible. Events like these play a vital role in promoting physical activity, inclusion, and wellbeing among young people. Judging by the smiles on faces and the energy on the field, our Holiday Junior Skills Clinics were a massive win for everyone involved. We can’t wait to do it again next holidays!
