The limited-edition jersey was worn by Johnston during his historic round two clash against the Roosters at Allianz Stadium on 13 March 2026, where he surpassed Ken Irvine to become the greatest try scorer in Australian rugby league history with his 213th career try. The jersey was purchased by The Juniors during the auction held at A Night With AJ in March, an exclusive celebration event honouring Johnston’s incredible achievement and career in the red and green.
Now permanently displayed outside Henrys, on Level 1 at The Juniors Kingsford, the jersey stands as a lasting tribute to one of the greatest finishers the game has ever seen and a proud South Sydney man through and through.
