Five South Sydney Rabbitohs players will proudly represent their nations this weekend across the Pacific Championships and the Ashes Series, with both men’s and women’s fixtures showcasing red and green talent on the international stage.
Alex Johnston – Papua New Guinea Kumuls
Rabbitohs winger Alex Johnston will line up for Papua New Guinea when the Kumuls face the Cook Islands Aitu on Saturday 25 October, at Santos National Football Stadium in Port Moresby.
Johnston has been named on the wing and will again bring his trademark speed and finishing ability to the national side. The match kicks off at 4pm (AEDT).
Siliva Havili – Tonga XIII
Siliva Havili has been named to start at hooker for Tonga XIII in their highly anticipated Pacific Championships clash with Toa Samoa at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane, on Sunday 26 October, kicking off at 4pm (AEDT).
Set to make his 20th Test appearance for Tonga, Havili will once again bring his experience, strength and leadership through the middle.
Keaon Koloamatangi – Australian Kangaroos
Keaon Koloamatangi will make his Kangaroos debut when Australia face England in the opening Test of the 2025 Ashes Series.
Koloamatangi has been named on the interchange bench for the clash, which kicks off at 12:30am (AEDT) on Sunday 26 October, at Wembley Stadium in London.
Jazmon Tupou-Witchman – Cook Islands Moana
Rabbitohs Harvey Norman NSW Women’s Premiership player Jazmon Tupou-Witchman has been named at lock for the Cook Islands Moana ahead of their second round Pacific Championships match against Tonga XIII.
Tupou-Witchman, the Harvey Norman NSW Women’s Rabbitohs 2025 Player of the Year, will bring her power and work rate through the middle as the Cook Islands look to continue their strong campaign. The match will be played on Saturday 25 October, at 2pm (AEDT) at Santos National Football Stadium in Port Moresby.
Seli Mailangi – Tonga XIII
Joining her Rabbitohs teammate on the opposite side of the field, Seli Mailangi will start at hooker for Tonga XIII in the same fixture.
Mailangi, the Rabbitohs’ 2025 Coaches Award recipient, will play a key role in the middle as Tonga look to start their Pacific Championships campaign strongly.
All Pacific Championships and Ashes Series matches will be broadcast live on Nine, 9Now, Kayo and Foxtel.
