The SG Ball side will now take on the Sea Eagles in their opening finals clash, while the Harold Matthews Cup team will face the Panthers as they begin their finals campaign.
SG Ball Cup
The SG Ball Cup side delivered a comprehensive performance at Leichhardt Oval, racing away to a 46-4 victory over the Tigers. Taj Alvarez was prolific in attack, crossing for three tries to lead the scoring charge. Dayne Jennings added two tries of his own and was equally effective with the boot, slotting five goals from the tee to round out a productive afternoon.
Isaac Fotu-Moala, Maddax Fui, Taj Aufai-Farani and Caleb Cresswell all crossed for tries as the Rabbitohs spread the ball effectively across the park. The 42-point winning margin reflected a polished team effort, with South Sydney rarely troubled by the Tigers' attack throughout the contest.
