We’re proud to introduce a powerful new game day tradition: The Legacy Bell will ring out before kick-off, uniting generations of Rabbitohs supporters and honouring the spirit that’s carried us from 1908 to today.

It’s easy to forget how much meaning can live in a single sound. But at the Rabbitohs, we know that a bell can do more than mark time — it can carry legacy.
A similar chime to the one that rang out at Birchgrove Oval in 1908 will thunder through the stadium once again. A bell reminiscent of the one Albert Clift treasured for 70 years. A bell echoing the spirit of our triumphant return in 2002. This is your invitation to witness history repeating itself.

In round 16, The Legacy Bell will ring at our home ground — not just as a nod to history, but as the start of something that will grow louder with every generation. A new tradition, built to last.
To mark the moment, Club captain Cameron Murray will ring the bell alongside his father Corey Murray — a former South Sydney player and lifelong supporter. Together, they will strike the very first chime in front of our Members and fans, bridging the past and the present in one powerful moment.
It’s a deeply personal and communal gesture, because this isn’t just about the bell on the sideline — it’s also about the Commemorative Bells in your hands.
Rabbitohs Members have the opportunity to purchase a Commemorative Bell Package and become part of the experience. When Rabbitohs Members lift their bells and ring them in unison, a heartbeat will echo through the Stadium.
