🏫 Applications Now Open for the July Intake of RISM
For many young people, finishing school doesn’t always come with a clear plan for what comes next. If your son or daughter loves sport but isn’t sure how to turn that passion into a career, the Rabbitohs Institute of Sports Management (RISM) could be the perfect next step.
Applications are now open for the July intake, offering students a unique opportunity to study inside one of Australia’s most iconic sporting organisations, the South Sydney Rabbitohs.
Delivered in partnership with TAFE NSW, the program combines nationally recognised education with real-world industry experience. Students learn not only the theory behind sport and business but also gain hands-on exposure to the inner workings of a professional sporting organisation.
A Pathway for Students Who Love Sport
The sports industry is much bigger than what happens on the field. Behind every team are professionals working across areas such as events, marketing, community engagement, operations, high performance, and business management.
RISM is designed to help students discover where they fit within this exciting industry. Through the program, students build practical skills, develop professional networks, and gain valuable industry experience that helps prepare them for future employment.
For many parents, the biggest benefit is seeing their child find direction and purpose after school.

Parents and prospective students are invited to attend one of our upcoming Open Days to learn more about the program and experience the environment your child could be studying in. These sessions are a great opportunity to hear directly from TAFE NSW and Rabbitohs staff, as well as current and past students who can share their experiences of the program.
