The Liverpool Opportunity Hub was established in 2020 in partnership with Training Services NSW. The program provides holistic support to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander school students in Liverpool LGA between grades 5 until after they complete their HSC.

Key program activities include:

• Health and Wellbeing workshops in schools.
• Before and after school programs including Breakfast Bootcamps and Homework Hubs.
• Individualized mentoring to support students overcome education and employment barriers.
• Cultural workshops.
• Industry visits and tertiary education tasters.
• Securing work experience and school-based traineeships.
• Career planning and increasing job readiness through resume writing, interview skills, building confidence, professional presentation etc.
• Mentoring support for 12 months after participants complete school.
• An annual Employment and Wellbeing Expo.
