Alex Johnston is one of the most prolific try scorers in Rugby League history and holds the South Sydney Rabbitohs’ all-time try scoring record. He continued to extend that tally in 2025, adding 15 tries and moving even closer to becoming the top try scorer the NRL has ever seen. A proud product of La Perouse, Johnston is recognised for his speed, sharp positional play and composure under the high ball. His career also includes representative honours for Australia, Papua New Guinea and the Indigenous All Stars. Johnston remains a key figure on the wing and a constant threat to opposition defensive lines.
