Senior Pathways Weekend Wrap | Round 3, 2026

The South Sydney Rabbitohs Senior Pathways teams enjoyed a positive Round three weekend, with the Knock On Effect NSW Cup side claiming a strong victory over the Wests Magpies and the Jersey Flegg Cup team earning a hard-fought draw against the Wests Tigers. Both sides took to the field at polytec Stadium, and there was plenty to be encouraged by across the two fixtures.

The Knock On Effect NSW Cup

The Rabbitohs secured a well-deserved 20-12 victory over the Wests Magpies at Polytec Stadium in Round three of the Knock On Effect NSW Cup. South Sydney were clinical when it mattered, crossing for three tries to two in a composed performance that kept the Magpies at arm's length for much of the contest.

Oliver Lawry, Jay Kirk and John Radel all crossed for four-pointers, while Matthew Humphries added two conversions with the boot to round out the scoring. It was a solid team effort from the Red and Green, who will look to carry this momentum into the coming rounds.

Jersey Flegg Cup

The Jersey Flegg Cup side fought out a thrilling 22-all draw with the Wests Tigers at Polytec Stadium. In a contest that swung back and forth, the Rabbitohs showed plenty of resilience to ensure they came away with a share of the points. It was an entertaining affair that could have gone either way in the closing stages.

Elijah Keung crossed for two tries to be a key contributor on the scoresheet, while Harvee Miller and Mateus Heslin also found their way over the line. Charlie Poynton was reliable with the boot, converting three of the four tries to keep the Cardinal and Myrtle in the contest throughout.
