Senior Pathways Weekend Wrap | Round 26, 2026
The Senior Pathways teams enjoyed a strong weekend across the board, with two wins and a draw from three matches. The South Sydney Rabbitohs delivered a commanding performance in The Knock On Effect NSW Cup, running in nine tries in a comprehensive victory at Lidcombe Oval. The NSW Women's Premiership side continued their impressive form with a convincing win over the Roosters at Redfern Oval, while the Jersey Flegg Cup team fought hard in a tightly contested draw against the Wests Tigers.
The Knock On Effect NSW Cup
The Rabbitohs produced a clinical attacking display in Round 26 of The Knock On Effect NSW Cup, claiming a 44-16 victory over the Wests Magpies at Lidcombe Oval. South Sydney were in devastating form, crossing for nine tries to put the result beyond doubt.
Jordi Mazzone was the chief beneficiary, crossing for a hat-trick to cap a prolific afternoon. Edward Kosi added two tries of his own, while Logan Dickson, Moala Graham-Taufa, Thomas Fletcher and Bronson Garlick all found their way to the tryline. Latrell Siegwalt was reliable with the boot, slotting four conversions to round out the scoring.

Jersey Flegg Cup
The Red and Green's Jersey Flegg Cup side fought out a hard-earned 24-all draw with the Wests Tigers in Round 26 of the Jersey Flegg Cup at Lidcombe Oval. It was a tightly contested affair from start to finish, with neither side able to land the decisive blow.
Isaac Fotu-Moala, Dwayne Lyons, Taj Alvarez and Cody Hill all crossed for tries to keep the Rabbitohs in the contest throughout. Matthew Humphries added three conversions with the boot. While the result was not quite the victory Souths were chasing, the determination shown to stay level in a competitive encounter was encouraging.

NSW Women's Premiership
The Cardinal and Myrtle's NSW Women's Premiership side secured an impressive 28-10 victory over the Roosters in Round 11 of the NSW Women's Premiership at Redfern Oval. South Sydney were clinical in attack, crossing for five tries to claim a well-deserved win on home turf.
Claudia Nielsen, Asha Taumoepeau-Williams, Liaina Dimech, Kyla Gordon and Jazmon Tupou-Witchman all found the tryline as the Rabbitohs spread the scoring load across the park. Kiara McGregor was sharp with the boot, converting four goals to help the side pull away from the Roosters.
South Sydney Rabbitohs 28 (Claudia Nielsen, Asha Taumoepeau-Williams, Liaina Dimech, Kyla Gordon, Jazmon Tupou-Witchman tries; Kiara McGregor four goals) defeated Roosters 10 at Redfern Oval.
It was a productive weekend for the Rabbitohs' Senior Pathways programs, with the NSW Cup side's nine-try demolition and the Women's Premiership team's comfortable victory providing plenty of positives. The Jersey Flegg Cup side will be eager to turn their competitive draw into a win next time out. All three teams will look to carry their momentum into the coming rounds as the business end of the season approaches.
