Sattler-Kelly Cup On the Line as Pathways Head North and South

The South Sydney Rabbitohs’ six pathways teams will head north to Gosford and south to Wollongong this Saturday 21 March, with the first leg of the Sattler-Kelly Cup being played at Gosford’s polytec Stadium.

The NSW Cup men’s clash between the South Sydney Rabbitohs and the Western Suburbs Magpies will be played at 5:10pm as a curtain raiser to the NRL fixture between the Rabbitohs and the Tigers in Gosford, with the Sattler-Kelly Cup on the line again in 2026.

The Sattler-Kelly Cup started in 2019 and is named after two legends of the South Sydney and Western Suburbs clubs, John Sattler and Noel Kelly. The winner is determined by the aggregate scores of the two regular season games played each year between the Rabbitohs and the Magpies. The Rabbitohs have won the Sattler-Kelly Cup four times with the Magpies having won it twice.

The Jersey Flegg Cup under 21s men’s match between the Rabbitohs and the Wests Tigers is scheduled to kick off at 3:25pm at polytec Stadium.

The junior representative teams will head to Collegians Sporting Complex in Wollongong on Saturday for matches against the St George Dragons.

The SG Ball Cup under 19s men’s teams will play at 2:30pm, preceded by the Harold Matthews Cup under 17s boys’ game at 1pm. The Tarsha Gale Cup under 19s women’s match will commence at 11:30am and the Lisa Fiaola Cup under 17s girls’ clash is scheduled for a 10am start.
