The South Sydney Rabbitohs were proud to be part of another successful OzHarvest CEO CookOff, with an incredible $412,000 raised so far to help provide meals to Australians experiencing food insecurity.
Rabbitohs CEO Blake Solly joined fellow Rabbitohs part-owner Mike Cannon-Brookes, 60 business leaders, 20 of Australia's leading chefs and 400 community guests for the special event, which brought together business and hospitality leaders for an evening of cooking, connection and fundraising.
Blake and Mike teamed up with renowned chef Guillaume Brahimi in the kitchen, preparing and serving meals alongside an impressive line-up of culinary talent, including Neil Perry, Danielle Alvarez, Khanh Ong, Emelia Jackson and many more.
The funds raised so far will enable OzHarvest to deliver an incredible 822,000 meals to people in need, helping make a meaningful difference to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity.
Combined, Blake and Mike's fundraising efforts will help provide a further 223,000 meals to Australians doing it tough, adding to the incredible impact of the event.
While the event was a great success, there is still more to come, with donation pages remaining open until the end of November and two more CEO CookOff events still to take place.
Rabbitohs Members and supporters are encouraged to get behind the fundraising efforts and help OzHarvest deliver even more meals to Australians in need.
