One year ago today, John Sutton, the most-capped Rabbitoh of all time announced his retirement for the end of the 2019 season.

A Souths Junior with Kensington United, Sutton finished his career with 336 games (all for the Rabbitohs), after making his debut way back in 2004 against a star-studded Broncos outfit.

He was the Captain of the Premiership-winning team of 2014 and has won countless awards at the Club including the George Piggins Medal (2009, 2012-2013)

Today John is still very active with the current crop, working as a development coach and wearing the blue shirt on game day.
