Duncan Earns Selection in 2026 Players' Dream Team

South Sydney Rabbitohs forward Tallis Duncan has received one of the highest individual honours from his fellow NRL players, earning selection in the 2026 Players' Dream Team.

Duncan was voted by his peers as one of the two best second rowers in the competition following an outstanding 2026 campaign in the Cardinal and Myrtle.

The Players' Dream Team recognises the best 14 players across their respective positions, with voting open to all contracted NRL players. Players cannot vote for a teammate, making Duncan's selection a significant endorsement from those he has competed against throughout the season.

Duncan was selected in the second row alongside Manly-Warringah's Haumole Olakau'atu, joining some of the biggest names in the game including James Tedesco, Nathan Cleary, Herbie Farnworth and Payne Haas.

The recognition caps another impressive year for Duncan, who has continued to establish himself as an important member of the Rabbitohs' forward pack through his work rate, versatility and consistency.

Duncan is the Rabbitohs' sole representative in this year's side, while future Rabbitoh Payne Haas, who will join South Sydney for the 2027 season, was selected at prop. It marks Haas' fifth Players' Dream Team selection, moving him to outright second for the most appearances since the concept began in 2017.

Haas and Duncan will link up in the Red and Green next season, with their recognition by their fellow players highlighting the quality within the Rabbitohs' forward pack heading into 2027.
