Mario Fenech Cup on the Line in NSW Cup in Round 12

The South Sydney Rabbitohs’ NSW Cup team will do battle with the North Sydney Bears for the Mario Fenech Cup on Saturday afternoon, whilst the South Sydney Jersey Flegg Cup team will take on the Melbourne Storm in the curtain raiser on home turf at Redfern Oval.

The NSW Cup men’s team are trailing in the 2025 Mario Fenech Cup by 18 points following a 30-12 loss to the Bears in round six earlier this year, and they will need to win this return leg by 19 points or more to secure the Mario Fenech Cup for the first time. This match will kick off at 2pm on Saturday 24 May.

The Jersey Flegg Cup under 21s men’s game will be the curtain raiser to the Mario Fenech Cup match, with kick off scheduled for 11:45am.
