The South Sydney Rabbitohs, Souths Cares and the Family of League have set up a number of fundraising events to support the ongoing welfare of the three children of Kyle Turner.
Cheyse, four, and twins Denver and Korbin, one, tragically lost their beloved dad in August of this year and the Rabbitohs, Souths Cares and the Family of League have set up a Trust to help fund the children’s education and health in the years to come.
The Trustees for the fund will be the South Sydney Rabbitohs’ CEO, Kyle’s manager Steve Gillis and the Family of League, all of whom will be entrusted to administer the Trust fund and distribute funds at the appropriate time. All funds raised for the Trust fund will go to the children of Kyle Turner.
Kyle was such a generous soul, giving of his time for the community and for the Rabbitohs for over a decade. His infectious smile and giving nature will no doubt transfer to Cheyse, Denver and Kobin, so the Rabbitohs are asking for everyone connected to the Club and Souths Cares to dig deep to support Kyle’s children who will continue through life without the in-person guidance of their loving father.
Online Auction
Firstly, an online auction is being conducted with items donated by the Rabbitohs, former teammates of Kyle’s, Members of the Rabbitohs, and other organisations wishing to play a role in helping his children now and into the future.
There are some very special items up for auction including an NRL VIP trip to the 2024 NRL All Stars game, a match in which Kyle loved to play; memorabilia from some of the Rabbitohs greats including 2014 season memorabilia, and one signed Rabbitohs jersey by Kyle Turner himself!
All money raised from this online auction will go into the Trust fund for Kyle’s children.
