Junior Reps Head Into Round Two as Trials Start for Senior Male Squads

The South Sydney Rabbitohs’ junior representative teams will head into round two this weekend with games against the Warriors and Penrith Panthers, with the NSW Cup and Jersey Flegg Cup teams set to trial against the Dragons.

The SG Ball Cup under 19s men’s and the Harold Matthews Cup under 17s boys’ teams will head to New Zealand to take on the Warriors on Sunday 15 February at Bruce Pullman Park in Takanini, with the Harold Matthews Cup fixture commencing at 8am Sydney time (10am NZ time) and the SG Ball Cup match starting at 9:30am Sydney time (11:30am NZ time).

The Tarsha Gale Cup under 19s women’s and the Lisa Fiaola Cup under 17s girls’ teams will play the Penrith Panthers on Saturday 14 February at St Marys Leagues Stadium, with the Lisa Fiaola Cup match set to start at 10am and the Tarsha Gale Cup game scheduled to kick off at 11:30am.

The Rabbitohs’ NSW Cup open men’s team will trial against the St George Illawarra Dragons at WIN Stadium on Saturday 14 February at 5:45pm, the curtain raiser to the Charity Shield NRL pre-season match. The Jersey Flegg Cup under 21s men’s team will trial against the Dragons on Saturday 14 February at 5pm at Collegians Sporting Complex in Figtree.
