Judiciary Update: Humphreys and Keppie Charged Following Round 27

Rabbitohs halfback, Jamie Humphreys, and forward, Sean Keppie, have been charged by the Match Review Committee following our round 27 match against the Roosters.

Humphreys was cited for Dangerous Contact – Grade 2 on Roosters forward Siua Wong in the 41st minute. He faces a two-match suspension with an early guilty plea or a three-match suspension if he contests the charge at the judiciary and is unsuccessful.

Keppie was cited for a Careless High Tackle – Grade 1 on Roosters player Robert Toia in the 75th minute. With an early guilty plea, he will receive a fine of $1,000 or face a $1,500 fine if found guilty at the judiciary.

Update – 8 September: Jamie Humphreys and Sean Keppie have both accepted the early guilty plea. Humphreys will be suspended for two matches, while Keppie will be fined $1,000.
