Following the Round 15 game against the Broncos, Rabbitohs players Richie Kennar and Latrell Mitchell have been charged by the NRL’s Match Review Committee.

Richie Kennar has been charged with a grade one careless high tackle. This being his first offence of the type, Kennar has the option to take a $1,000 fine with an early guilty plea. However, if found guilty without an early plea, the fine will increase to $1,500. A not guilty verdict would carry no penalty.

Meanwhile, Latrell Mitchell has been charged with grade one contrary conduct, marking his third and subsequent offence. Mitchell faces a $3,000 fine if he opts for an early guilty plea. Should Mitchell contest the charge and be found guilty, he will be suspended for two matches. A not guilty verdict would carry no penalty.

Kennar and Mitchell have taken the early guilty pleas and will each pay their respective fines.
