The South Sydney Rabbitohs’ NSW Cup and Jersey Flegg Cup teams will host the Newtown Jets and Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks respectively this weekend at Coogee Oval.
The NSW Cup game between South Sydney and Newtown is the first leg of the Rayner-Farrell Cup for season 2026. The Rayner-Farrell Cup is named after two legends of the South Sydney and Newtown clubs, Jack Rayner and Bumper Farrell. The winner is determined by the aggregate scores of the two regular season games played each year between the South Sydney Rabbitohs and Newtown Jets. The Clubs have won the Rayner-Farrell Cup once each.
The NSW Cup game against the Jets will kick off at 2pm this Sunday 10 May, with the Jersey Flegg Cup under 21s men’s game against the Sharks scheduled to kick off at 11:45am.
