Rabbitohs Women’s Team to Play Panthers in Week One Finals Match

The South Sydney Rabbitohs’ NSW Women’s Premiership team will play in the qualification final against the Penrith Panthers this Saturday 6 September at 11am at Leichhardt Oval, having qualified for the Finals for the first time since the 2018 season.

The Rabbitohs finished the season in second position and will host the third-placed Panthers this Sunday, as they for a spot in the preliminary final in a fortnight’s time.

In 2018, the Rabbitohs won their way through to the Grand Final and will be looking to do the same in 2026.

A win in Sunday morning’s game will propel the Rabbitohs into the third week of Finals and a berth in the preliminary Final. A loss will see the Rabbitohs play in next weekend’s major semi-final for a place in the preliminary final.
