Background
Australian Rules Football has dominated the Brittain household for years, but it’s Billy himself who’s looking to change that and forge his own rugby league legacy.
His father Craig Brittain, was a former VFL player who also enjoyed an assistant coaching role with the Brisbane Lions during the early 2000s. His uncle Wayne, coached Carlton from 2001-02.
Career
Coming through the Brisbane Broncos and Melbourne Storm systems, Billy is yet to make his first grade debut. In 2016, he captained Queensland Cup side Norths Devils at just 21 years of age.
His strong performances throughout the season saw him take out the Intrust Super Cup’s Best and Fairest award.

As a hooker, Brittain will step up as an understudy to Damien Cook and Robbie Farah.
