It's the South Sydney Rabbitohs taking on the St George Illawarra Dragons in a do-or-die semi-final at ANZ Stadium and we could not be more excited!
Ahead of the explosive match between two old foes, here are four of the biggest points going into the game.
The biggest crowd of the year
A big attendance is expected for this Saturday's match as two of Rugby League's oldest clubs go head to head once again on the big stage.
It's sure to be an electric atmosphere, with both sets of supporters ready to give their team an almighty boost in a must-win game.
The crowd could play a huge factor in the final outcome of the match acting as an extra player on the field.
So make sure you get out and support the Red and Green and play your part in guiding the team to a Preliminary final against the Sydney Roosters.
Regular season matches set the trend
Both clubs have never met during a finals series since the existence of St George Illawarra as one entity but that doesn't the two sides aren't well acquainted.
This year alone the Rabbitohs and the Dragons have met three times, with a charity shield clash in Mudgee and two regular-season matches played at Jubilee Oval and ANZ Stadium.
The semi-final match between Rugby League royalties is set to be as epic as they come and if the regular season matches are anything to go by those watching on are in for a massive treat.
Back row battle
In a matchup that is littered with huge head to head battles between individuals, it's hard to pick which personal joust will become a deciding factor in this intriguing encounter.
However, I've gone with the heavyweight battle between the Rabbitohs back rowers John Sutton and Angus Crichton and Dragons big boppers Tariq Sims and Tyson Frizell.
All four players have been in electric form this season with Crichton, Sims and Frizell all representing NSW in this year's State of Origin, whilst Rabbitohs legend John Sutton has been in the form of his life.
Both sets of players are different in their own way with the Dragons duo known for their hard running and tackle breaking talents while the Rabbitohs pair provide silky skills that help their outside men put on the points.
However, the players all share one comment trait, which is the ability to make an impact at any given moment.
Do or die football
The atmosphere is electric, it's exciting and it's also nervous
There is nothing better than elimination football, everything to play for, all on the line, one team goes on the other starts preparing for 2019.
Both teams know how hard it is to lose the big games but they also know how great it is to win.
These contributing factors should make this upcoming semi-final clash between the Rabbitohs and the Red V one the most entertaining clashes in recent history.
