Crichton's top five tries

South Sydney Rabbitohs backrower Angus Crichton is about to hit 50 NRL games at just 22 years of age.

To help the damaging ball runner celebrate his milestone, we've picked out five of his best four pointers in Rabbitohs colours.

1. The First - Round 22 2016 vs Melbourne Storm

In just his fourth match in the top grade, Angus Crichton produced an all-important four-pointer against Melbourne.

Down 12-6 heading into the final quarter of the match, Crichton leapt above the (Storm) clouds to produce a memorable first try of his career to put his side back in the contest.

2. Dash To The Line - Round 12 2017 vs Parramatta Eels

With the Rabbitohs down 18-nil to the Parramatta Eels at halftime, Crichton took it upon himself to put his side on the board with an extraordinary 90-metre dash.

Regathering an attempted strip, the young backrower headed for the try line as other players looked around in disbelief as he polished off a brilliant individual four-pointer.

3. Leaping High - Round 14 2017 vs Brisbane Broncos

In an almost identical showing as his first try, the boy from Young produced another spectacular acrobatic effort against the Broncos midway through 2017.

Down 22-12 with less than ten minutes left, an Adam Reynolds bomb was taken by Crichton, who beat multiple opponents and teammates to the ball. The then 21-year-old crashed over next to the posts to give his side a glimmer of hope in taking out the match.

4. The Cherry On Top - Round 15 2017 vs Gold Coast Titans

After trailing 20-10 at halftime, the Rabbitohs clicked into gear against the luckless Titans and managed to put on a try-scoring master class, leading 32-20 with just minutes remaining.

Having already scored two tries before, in his breakout game Crichton put the cherry on top in the 78th minute where he made a 40-metre charge, palming off multiple defenders and falling over the line to seal his hat-trick.

5. The Crawl - Round 10 2018 vs St George Illawarra Dragons

In one of the fastest starts to a match this season, Angus Crichton found himself on the try scorers' sheet just six minutes into this blockbuster match against the Dragons.

With Hymel Hunt scoring an early try and the Rabbitohs on the front-foot, Crichton injected himself into the contest, exploding off a short-ball from Adam Reynolds.

The NSW Origin forward brushed off two defenders, and crashed over the line and planted the ball down through sheer determination and effort.
