Tevita Tatola says the Rabbitohs will rely on hard training to rebuild confidence as they prepare to face the Melbourne Storm this Friday night.
Regrouping After Loss
The Rabbitohs prop acknowledged the difficulty of bouncing back from last weekend's defeat, but emphasised the importance of the training paddock in restoring the team's belief ahead of Friday night's clash with Melbourne Storm.
"It's quite hard to regroup after a loss like that. I guess coming into training and working on the things that we need to work on on the training paddock gives us the confidence to go out this week against Storm and hopefully get the job done against them," Tatola said. "The main thing is just training hard on the footy field on the training paddock and then getting our confidence out of that to go again this weekend."
The forward pack will be crucial in setting the platform against one of the competition's most formidable defensive units.
Fifita Availability
The prop revealed he was on the bench when an incident involving David Fifita occurred during last weekend's match, and was surprised to later learn his teammate had been referred to the judiciary.
"I did see the kick. I was on the bench at the time but I didn't think too much of it. It happened pretty quick, but I actually didn't know that he got sent to the judiciary, so it was a bit of a shock when I found out," he said.
Tatola said the team is hoping Fifita receives a favourable result at the judiciary and is available for Friday night's important clash with the Storm. When asked whether he would fight a similar charge, Tatola said if Fifita thinks there was nothing in the incident, then he would want to fight it.
