Meet our Mascot Family 🐰💚❤️
To my dearest Rabbitohs Family,
It’s Reggie Rabbit here again, and I told you something special was coming.
I’d like you to meet my family who will be helping me meet and entertain the Rabbitohs faithful at our games and events from now on!
First up is my daughter, Scarlett Rabbit.
She’s been with me from her day one, cheering louder than anyone in the stands. She is kind, warm, and always ready to lend a hand, even when I forget my boots!
Some of you might remember her as a ball girl back in the day, but now she’s back by my side on game day, bringing her energy from the sidelines to the stands.
Then there is her husband, Oliver.
Now I’ll be honest, I wasn’t too sure about Oliver at the start. I’m a very protective father, but he’s won me over with the love he has shown for my daughter, out whole family and the entire Rabbitohs family. He is a rock-solid bloke with a soft heart, he is handy and a Mr-Fix-It with just about anything, and even if it did take a little convincing at first, a proud Rabbitohs man through-and-through. You’ll spot him getting stuck in wherever he is needed.
And then we come to my beloved grandkids, the kids of Scarlett and Oliver, and the apples (or carrots) or my eye!
First we have my wonderful granddaughter, Ruby.
Ruby is a natural. She is the captain of her local footy team, she is cool under pressure, she is competitive yet compassionate in all the right ways, she loves school and has a special group of friends that all love the Rabbitohs because of her passion for the Club, as she has that Rabbitohs spirit running through her soul. She is as sharp-of-mind and she is fleet-of-foot; a real all-rounder. Myself, her mother and her father are all so proud of her and we love her to bits. We are sure you will too. Keep an eye on her as she is going to make her mark on this world.
And then there is my electrifying grandson, Jack, and he is one right out of the box!
He is so cheeky, so full of energy, he’s always stirring things up and keeping everyone laughing, even if he can get a bit carried away from time-to-time. He is super confident, willing to try and anything, and he has been known to give me, his mother and his father the odd heart attack with some of the things he gets up to! He is already talking up a big game too. I’ve heard a few mascots around the League might be in his sights, especially that rooster from across town! He certainly keeps us all on our toes but I would not have it any other way. I think I’m the best one to keep him in check too. He loves and respects his Grandad. I know you will love him too!
That is what we are at South Sydney. One big family and now, my family is part of yours.
You will start seeing us everywhere; game days, community visits, fan events, more moments, more memories, more connection and even more ways to bring that Rabbitohs spirit to life for every single one of you.
I could not be prouder to share this with you all, and I can’t wait for you to meet them in person.
