Cameron Murray Named in NSW Blues Squad for Origin Game Two

South Sydney Rabbitohs captain Cameron Murray has been named in the New South Wales Blues squad for Game Two of the 2026 Ampol State of Origin series, set to take place at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Wednesday 17 June.

The selection comes off the back of a standout performance in the series opener, where Murray was one of the Blues' best after entering the fray off the interchange bench.

The Rabbitohs skipper was exceptional at both ends of the park, particularly in defence, where there was simply no getting around him. His impact helped shift the momentum of the contest and played a key role in one of the more dramatic Origin comebacks in recent memory. Now in his 17th Origin appearance, Murray continues to cement himself as one of the most reliable forwards in the NSW setup.

The Blues head to the MCG for Game Two with a 1-0 series lead, with the shield on the line and a chance to seal the series. Daley will again be leaning on Murray to help get the job done.

Game Two kicks off at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Wednesday 17 June, 8:05pm AEST.
