Rabbitohs NRL squad for round 25 against Roosters

The South Sydney Rabbitohs are pleased to announce their NRL squad for round 25 against the Sydney Roosters at Allianz Stadium to be played this Friday 2 September at 7:55pm.

Rabbitohs Head Coach Jason Demetriou has named Jaxson Paulo in the centres replacing the injured Campbell Graham and Siliva Havili at hooker replacing Damien Cook who has COVID-19. Peter Mamouzelos takes Havili’s position on the bench. Thomas Burgess will start in the front row with Hame Sele starting from the interchange bench.

Winger Taane Milne will play his 50th NRL game this Friday night after making his NRL debut for the Dragons on ANZAC Day in 2016.

This match is the second leg of the Ron Coote Cup for 2022. The Ron Coote Cup celebrates the career of one of the game’s greatest players, Ron Coote AM, who won six premierships and played in nine Grand Finals during his 15 seasons playing first-grade football with both South Sydney and Eastern Suburbs. The Ron Coote Cup is played across both home and away fixtures in any given season, with the winner determined by the aggregate score from those two regular season matches. The Rabbitohs are aiming to win their fifth-consecutive Ron Coote Cup on Friday night and hold a 12-point lead in 2022 courtesy of a 28-16 victory in round three.
