South Sydney juniors Zach Maling and Zach Kambos have been selected for the NSW Under 16s pathways squad.
Maling and Kambos will represent the Grand Old Club and will take part in NSWRL’s Pathway Program along with the state’s finest young talent, assembling next week at the Sydney Academy of Sport in Narrabeen.
The next generation of Blues players will be put through a number of educational workshops on nutrition, lifestyle and wellbeing, in addition to on-field training sessions, in a bid to claim another junior Origin trifecta. All three junior representative sides, Under 16, 18 and 20, celebrated victory in the previous two years.
The NSW Pathways Program is designed to help the next wave of Blues players develop the attributes needed on and off the field to become a future NSW Blues Origin player.
