The South Sydney Rabbitohs Chairman, Mr Nicholas Pappas AM, believes the Club is on an upward trajectory after re-building during 2016 and is on track to repay the faith of our Members.
Mr Pappas has overseen the Club rise to success since our re-admission in 2002. He has been the Rabbitohs Chairman since 2008, previously holding the position between 2003-2006, and has been a director of the Club since 2006.
Vital to the rise of the Rabbitohs, in the Chairman's opinion, is the passion and support of our Membership base.
"We spent a lot of 2016 re-building the Club both in its roster, its off field dynamics and in its personnel - senior personnel in particular," said Mr Pappas.
"The building blocks are in place. We should start to see the results of that this year, if we don't see all the results this year I think 2018/2019 are going to get even stronger - So the fans have a lot to look forward to.
"But at the end of the day without Members, without our lifeblood, and that's what Membership is; it's our lifeblood, without blood in our veins we are nothing.
"I encourage all Members to encourage those around them, all those people who talk about being Souths fans but hesitate at becoming Members - they're the ones to convert.
"The stronger we become in Membership terms the better Club we become."
