We've Got To Turn Up For The 80 Minutes: Turner

Moving on from round two, Kyle Turner describes the intention to turn up for the full 80 minutes of play and to have a positive mindset going into the game against the Newcastle Knights this weekend.

“We didn’t really turn up that first 10/15 minutes, we let in some easy tries and we just didn’t come switch on,” recalled Turner.

“We’ve just got to go into this game with a better mindset and the Knights will come out firing so we’ve got to counteract that.

“It’s a defensive game and you’ve got to turn up for the 80 minutes, it’s not acceptable to miss out on the 10 or 15 so we’ve really got to come with a good mindset and turn it on.”

With teammate Robbie Farah set to take the field for his 250th NRL appearance, Turner explains the Club’s desire to make it a memorable one for Farah.

“It’s a big one for Robbie, obviously he is new to our Club but we’ve really welcomed him and he has been a really great asset to the Club.

“The boys just want to go out there and do a good job for him.

“You want to make it memorable for that player, no one wants to look back on their debut or 50th or 250th in Robbie’s case and say they lost it or didn’t play a good game. If we make it a memorable one for him it will be good.”
