The Four Pointer: A State of Origin special

There may be no club footy for the South Sydney Rabbitohs this weekend but that doesn't mean Members and supporters aren't without any action.

State of Origin is upon us and there are plenty of Rabbitohs involved that will play their part in Australia's biggest sporting rivalry.

Here are four things onlookers should keep an eye out for over the course of the weekend.

Inglis to flatten more Baby Blues

If you thought Club and Maroons captain Greg Inglis was on a seek and destroy mission in Game I, expect the destructive outside back to be even more deadly in defence in Game II.

Inglis absolutely flattened Baby Blues Tom Trbojevic and Nathan Cleary with two monster hits as he tried to fire up his team in Melbourne.

With the series on the line this Sunday, Inglis will be a force to be reckoned with.

Simon to light it up on debut

Rabbitohs lightning fast winger Taleena Simon has been in electric form this season with the Red and Green and I don't expect her to slow down now that she's in a Blues jumper.

While the Blues are stacked with talented players Simon will be the one finishing off set plays and also helping the Blues out of trouble with her damaging ball running.

Cooking up a storm

He helped set up NSW first try in Game I with a dummy half break and was a constant threat throughout the 80-minute contest at the MCG but I believe this is just the calm before the storm for hooker Damien Cook.

Back on home soil on a familiar track and with shackles off his back, Cook will be even more dangerous than two weeks ago, which will cause big headaches for the Queenslanders.

I going to give an early Origin prediction and say Cook for Man of the match!

Red and Green everywhere

Not only are our Rabbitohs stars featuring in both the Women's and Men's State of Origin matches but we also have our stars spread across the whole weekend.

Over in America, the Burgess brothers are getting set to take on New Zealand, while Robert Jennings and Junior Tatola are slipping on the mighty red jersey of Tonga for the Pacific test against Samoa.

And if you want more Rabbitohs action, three of our youngsters Billy Brittain, Mawene Hiroti and Dean Britt will be running out for the NSW residents.
