Support Souths Cares this Christmas

In the last seven days, Souths Cares' Gift of Giving campaign has brought the Christmas spirit to over 800 children, youth and disadvantaged members of our community.

The campaign kicked off with Souths Cares Ambassador Nathan Merritt visiting the Windgap Foundation to celebrate Christmas and provide gifts to people who have an intellectual disability.

Over 300 primary school students participated in the Rabbitohs KARI Wellbeing Program on day two of the campaign and learned how to stand up to bullying in their schools.

Day three involved Souths Cares Ambassador Beau Champion attending the Youth Off The Streets Christmas Party in Maroubra, giving over 100 presents to local children and youth.

On day four, Rabbitohs players Ky Rodwell, Lucky Ta'avale and Mawene Hiroti attended the Redfern Community Centre’s Christmas party, sharing their rugby league skills with the community and handing out over 300 presents.

Reggie Rabbit joined Santa Claus on day five of the campaign, making a special appearance at Wunanbiri Preschool’s Christmas party to give out presents and sing Christmas carols.

The Gift of Giving campaign continues this week with Souths Cares giving back to a host of community groups, schools and disadvantaged members of our community.

This Christmas, Souths Cares are asking our members and supporters make a donation to the charity, which will enable the charity to continue delivering important programs for our community.

All donations over $2 are tax deductible and a donation can also be gifted to somebody else as a Christmas present!
