Rabbitohs halfback, Adam Reynolds, is completely focused on the role he will play in Laurie Daley’s NSW State of Origin team for Wednesday’s Series opener at ANZ Stadium.
“For me it’s about getting out there and doing my job – pushing the boys around the park and making sure that we’re building pressure through the kicking game and also applying pressure through our attack as well,” said Reynolds.
“We sat down and came up with a game-plan and it’s just about sticking to that now.”
After being named in the team on Monday, Reynolds is now in camp with the Blues in Coffs Harbour.
Reynolds is set to partner James Maloney in the New South Wales halves, and will come against the Test halves pairing of Johnathan Thurston and Cooper Cronk – a challenge that the Souths Junior is looking forward to.
“I think It’s a good challenge,” said Reynolds.
“They’ve been at the top of their game for so long. They’re accompanied by some great players around them as well.
“For us it’s just about turning up on the night with the right mentality and making sure we really turn up ready to play.”
