Souths Cares’ Rabbitohs Wellbeing Program continues to be met with strong demand, with over 8,800 students from 22 primary and high schools completing the program during Term 3.
The most popular Rabbitohs Wellbeing workshop during Term 3 was Healthy Relationships, with over 4,700 students learning about the differences between healthy and unhealthy relationships, the importance of communication when building relationships and how to work collaboratively with people from diverse backgrounds.
Rachel Sinkovic is a Teacher at Pagewood Public School and explained the Healthy Relationships workshops were well received at her school.
“After completing the program we had lots of positive comments from our teachers about how impressed they were with the content and our student’s engagement. The length of the presentation was perfect for our students and content was relevant to their wellbeing needs”, Rachel said.
Another popular Rabbitohs Wellbeing workshop in Term 3 was Tackle Bullying, with over 2,200 students learning how to identify and respond to bullying and the important role bystanders can play in reducing bullying in the classroom and on the playground.

Sharon Guider is a Teacher at Maroubra Junction Public School and explained the Tackle Bullying workshops were engaging for students and were closely aligned with their curriculum learning.
“The workshops were age appropriate with great explanations on bullying definitions and strategies, which tied in perfectly with our PDHPE curriculum. Souths Cares presenters did a fantastic job and kept our students highly engaged throughout the program”, Sharon said.
Other Rabbitohs Wellbeing workshops facilitated during Term 3 included eSafety, Gratitude, Get Moving and Oral Health. The broad range of workshop content offered by Souths Cares enables each school to customize their experience depending on their unique Health and Wellbeing needs.
