It's been a big build up for this weekend's clash between the South Sydney Rabbitohs and the Parramatta Eels.
With excitement stocking up all around here are some of the best quotes from this week in the lead up to tomorrow's game.
Robert Jennings"No not yet they’re a bit quiet, he’s still filthy about it but it's my job at the end of the day that’s footy."
Winger Robert Jennings was back to his best brotherly banter this week as he gets a second bite at his brother's in the Eels team.
Last time Jennings scored four past his brothers George and Michael and apparently they've been quiet ever since.
Thomas Burgess“We’ve been honest with ourselves today the last couple of weeks we haven’t been at our best even the last time we played Parramatta, we need to have a look at our starts and that’s something we’ll definitely be working on."
Big man Thomas Burgess was quick to dispell any signs of complacency amongst the Rabbitohs team saying the team have taken an honest approach all season including this weekend.
Hymel Hunt"It’s been going really well it was my first loss in a while I'm just looking to forward to doing my best job and getting the W'' for the boys in their milestones this weekend."
Filling in admirably for the injured Greg Inglis, Hymel Hunt has been growing from strength with extra time on the field.
Danny Allende"I think we’ve just got to be confident in our own ability, we are the minor premiers and we’re there for a reason. The guys are good enough to go out there and play well they’ve just got to believe in it... I'm just hoping they can go out there, be confident, back their ability, back their plays and work for each other."
It's a massive weekend for our Rabbitohs women's team as they gear up for their major semi-final against Mounties this weekend.
The newly crowned Minor Premiers have all the talent they need to topple their opponents but Head Coach Danny Allende says that they need to believe in there ability as well.
Greg Inglis"What a hair cut! Wow!
Moving onto a funnier note, captain Greg Inglis took his opportunity to wind up five-eighth Cody Walker on his recent haircut.
Walker brushed off the joke with ease during his Monday press conference, whilst also firing back at his captain by referring to him as a "glass house".
Cameron Murray"He’s a really good coach, he’s my type of coach, he’s very consistent and honest in his feedback and he's not easily distracted. He's got all the traits and the personality that a head coach needs, he keeps everyone grounded and focused on the next job."
Rabbitohs Head Coach Anthony Seibold was on the agenda throughout the week and on Thursday young gun Cameron Murray was asked about his Coach's qualities and the lock forward gave the boss some very high praise to appease those with the microphones.
Dane Gagai"It’s a massive especially being on the right side with 'Reyno', we’ve formed a good relationship there, I think he was dirty that I got to my 150th a bit quicker than him but it’s a massive week and for a bloke who’s been at the Club and put in a lot and won a grand final for the Club, its an honour to play alongside him.”
Centre Dane Gagai and halfback Adam Reynolds have formed a new friendship on the right-hand side of the field and Gagai couldn't be happier his new mate is reaching a special milestone a week after his.
Anthony Seibold"He’s been going really good he’s been doing all his running on the side of the field, he’s in the gym at the moment training and we expect him back for the Broncos game. It’s six week recovery we’re not playing any games in and around that we need to make sure that he is ready, he won’t quite get the roosters game in but he’ll be ready for the Broncos."
Head Coach Anthony Seibold wet the appetite of all Greg Inglis fans during his media session giving a due date for his captain's return.
