'Playing with legends is always exciting' - Murray

The South Sydney Rabbitohs have welcomed a second Murray into the Club as NRL star Cameron Murray's sister Bryanna Murray made her first-grade debut for the Rabbitohs women yesterday afternoon.

At just 18 years of age Murray is the youngest player to play for the women so far this year and while the result was not the one she would have hoped for, the young star was delighted that she got her chance to play with the top squad at Souths.

"I think I need to work on a few areas of my game to help the team and work with them better, " said Murray.

"But not many people get to debut this early so I'm still really happy with the way I went just a few things to work on."

Thrown into the deep end yesterday Murray came on and immediately noticed the difference in standard between the under 18s and first-grade as she moved to the wing to cover an injured Rikka Lamb on the wing.

"It was very different to Tarsha Gale, in the Tarsha Gale I was playing more front row I'm a bit too small for that here. But it's all just a learning curve for me," Said Murray.

With her first game under her belt now in Red and Green Murray wants to try and hold her place down in the team and continue to play alongside some of the best in the game at the Rabbitohs.

"Playing with some legends it's always pretty exciting but they all said to go out there and have fun and do your best," said Murray.

"Now I just want to keep pushing and keep working to hold my spot here, I was lucky enough to play as much as I did today and that's all I want to keep doing is playing with the elite girls at Souths."
