The South Sydney Physical Disability Rugby League team will take on the Manly Physical Disability Rugby League team in a 9-a-side exhibition match at Campbelltown stadium on Saturday 11 February.
Now in its 6th year, the NSW Physical Disability competition continues to grow and provide opportunities for people with a physical disability to participate in rugby league. In 2017, the competition will include teams from the South Sydney Rabbitohs, Sydney Roosters, Newtown Jets, Manly Sea-Eagles and Wests Tigers.
South Sydney player George Tonna explained the exhibition match was a great opportunity for the physical disability teams to play in front a big audience.
"We are looking forward to playing at Campbelltown stadium and it will be exciting for all the boys to play in front a big crowd. We hope everyone can get there early and watch us play," George said.
The schedule for the Rabbitohs trial game at Campbelltown stadium is:
