Musgrove chats oral health with Central Coast kids

South Sydney Rabbitohs forward Zane Musgrove, teamed up with Souths Cares to deliver the ever popular Colgate Oral Health Program to over 1,000 primary school students on the Central Coast.

With the support from NRL development officers and the Poche Centre for Indigenous Health, Souths Cares taught primary school students about the importance of caring for their teeth and living a healthy and active lifestyle.

Rabbitohs forward Musgrove played an important part in the program, sharing his own tips on nutrition and exercise as well motivating students to look after their teeth.

“I remember when I was a kid and NRL players visited our school, it had a big impact on me,” said Musgrove.

“Being able to help kids make the right choices and live healthy lives is a privilege and something I really enjoy doing.”

The program was well received by students and teachers alike, with the Principal of Niagara Park Public School Adam Boulus, appreciative of the Rabbitohs support for the region.

“It’s great to have the Rabbitohs make the journey up to the Central Coast and speak with our students,” Mr Boulus explained.

The workshops today help to emphasize some really important messages about making positive and  healthy choices.”

Day two of the Central Coast Oral Health tour continues tomorrow, with Souths Cares to engage a further 1,000 students from three primary schools.

The Oral Health Program is proudly supported by Colgate; the Official Oral Hygiene Partner of the South Sydney Rabbitohs.
